With the wave of rapid economic growth,
there has been an unstoppable expansion of economic globalization and trade,
and the corresponding growth in the number of reefer containers continues unabated.

As such, the importance of reefer containers, which transport not only refrigerated and perishable goods,
but also pharmaceuticals and precision equipment,
while maintaining the optimum temperature and humidity for each type of cargo, is only increasing.

Established in December 1972 as a subsidiary of Nippon Control’s,
which was engaged in the design, manufacture, and sale of marine equipment,
Nihon Engineering was founded primarily for the purpose of maintenance and management of reefer containers.

At that time, demand for reefer containers was in the midst of rapid growth,
and from that time to the present, we have built up experience by specializing
in the handling of reefer containers and establishing ourselves as experts in the field.

In order to keep all reefer containers stored at container terminals in proper condition,
we provide support for reefer containers maintenance operations such as pre-trip inspection (PTI) and
monitoring of unit temperatures, as well as repairs to actual containers.

In December 2022, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the company’s establishment.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our customers and predecessors who have supported us over the years.
On the occasion of our 50th anniversary, we will go back to the basics of strengthening manpower for safe, prompt, and accurate service and improving
on-site responsiveness, think about what we can do for our customers, and further devote ourselves to our task.
